There’s more Olympic golf controversy as a Japanese non–profit group has demanded the golf tournament of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics be moved from the Kasumigaseki Country Club, which does not accept women as full members.
The International Olympic Committee has officially requested the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games organizers to address the issue of Kasumigaseki Country Club, the scheduled Olympic golf venue that does not extend full memberships to women.
According to a report from the Guardian, it appears that golf's tenure as an Olympic sport is about to be extended.
Rumours are rife that the International Golf Federation is about to submit a bid to include a team competition in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
