There’s an ugly rumour going round that it’s all change at Wentworth, and that if you are not an oligarch you can start packing your bags. Richard Caring sold Wentworth to Beijing-based Reignwood Investments in 2014 for £135 million. And here's what is rumoured.

It was Thorbjorn Olesen's day at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He shot a great 7 under 65 at St Andrews to get to seventeen under par, and hold a three shot lead over Germany’s Florian Fritsch.
More rain. It rained all night, and most of the day to put a dampener on moving day scoring. The day went to Jordan Spieth, who had to make four serious par saves to keep in contention. He then nailed a twenty-footer on the 18th for a birdie to overtake Henrik Stenson for the outright lead.
It didn’t rain (that much) today, and the crowds came out in their droves. Who says the young guns aren’t already making a difference? They came to see Jordan, and he did not disappoint. In the end he won comfortably with a two under 69 to beat Henrik Stenson by four shots.
Dustin Johnson has had some year. His sabbatical didn't seem to affect his golf, as he came out firing on all cylinders winning the WGC Cadillac Championship.
