"Well, this is absolutely insane," said Gay after his round. "I’ve been playing awful since Covid… it’s been a struggle. I’ve been trying to work hard and get back."

Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen stamped her authority on the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open with a commanding second round 65 (-7) to take a six-shot lead at 16-under-par heading into the final day at Beroun Golf Club. Pedersen came into the tournament as the highest ranked player on the Rolex Rankings and played like it.
This week’s Betfred British Masters hosted by Lee Westwood marks the beginning of the European Tour’s UK Swing, and former World Number One Westwood enters the week not only as tournament host but also as one of the favourites to take the title. The LPGA announced its revised calendar for 2020 on Wednesday with a planned return to play at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in Michigan on 15th July. There will also be more cash available due to increases in the purses for many of the events. Players will compete for an average of nearly $2.7 million per event.
