Englishman Josh Hill entered the record books becoming the youngest player ever to win an Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) event with his two-stroke triumph in the Al Ain Open on the Mena Tour. But sadly, as an amateur he couldn’t take home his £10,000 prize money.

Talented English junior golfers, Corey Neville and Ellen Hume, have won the first events of the 2020 Faldo Series Europe calendar, securing their places at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club for the Europe Grand Final in November. Sir Nick Faldo will return to his home club, Welwyn Garden City Golf Club, to celebrate the Faldo Series’ 25th anniversary and launch its largest ever championship.
Sir Nick Faldo’s junior series has announced a new partnership with Ligas Golf which will see the Faldo Series host events in Spain for the first time. Agreeing on a three-year partnership, the Faldo Series and Ligas Golf collaboration will host a total of 14 qualifying events across Spain this summer, with ambitious plans to expand the schedules in the following years.
