Faldo Series on its way to Spain

Sir Nick Faldo’s junior series has announced a new partnership with Ligas Golf which will see the Faldo Series host events in Spain for the first time.

Agreeing on a three-year partnership, the Faldo Series and Ligas Golf collaboration will host a total of 14 qualifying events across Spain this summer, with ambitious plans to expand the schedules in the following years.
The partnership brings two passionate brands together, as they look to align on a shared commitment to growing the game by providing unique opportunities for juniors to grow, develop and compete through golf.
The announcement of the new partnership fosters further excitement for the upcoming Faldo Series season, as it celebrates 25 years of growing the game and looks to build on its most popular Europe Series ever in 2020.   
At each event players will be able to opt in to play simultaneously in both the Ligas Golf stableford and the Faldo Series’ scratch open competitions. Winners in the qualifying Faldo Series competition will earn an invite to September’s Faldo Series Spain Championship, where players will compete for a place in the Faldo Series Europe Grand Final at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, Abu Dhabi this November.

Looking ahead to the newly established fiesta of junior golf this summer, Matthew Faldo, Director of the Faldo Series said; “We are delighted to team up with Ligas Golf and officially bring the Faldo Series to Spain.
