Ping irons tend to be chunky. It’s not a criticism, just a statement of fact. They’re engineered, and if forgiveness come from them being chunky then so be it. With the new G irons though, these look much slicker. In fact, they look positively attractive. A wolf in sheep clothing, or in this case a G in I clothing.

The new upstart company have signed eight new players to their tour staff for the year including current Open Champion and double major winner Zach Johnson, former FedEx Cup winner Billy Horschel, and double women Major Champion Christie Kerr.

Cheyenne Woods has had a good year. She's built on her 2014 where she won on the Ladies European Tour by winning her LPGA tour card for 2016, coming 13th at the final qualifying tournament. But she has topped it all by taking a Cheetah for a walk.
