Swingin’ Siren Lexi Thompson got the job done, winning the LPGA’s Hana Bank Championship in South Korea. Still only 20, it’s Lexi’s sixth win on tour, and second this season, she’s really pushed on since her GolfPunk photoshoot.
Here at GolfPunk we like to celebrate our Swinging Sirens. But what about the first swinging siren? A trailblazer for our game in Golf's earlier days.

The wait is over for Mel Reid. She is an LPGA Tour champion and Rolex First-Time Winner. The six-time Ladies European Tour (LET) winner and three-time European Solheim Cup Team member sealed victory at the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer with a 4-under par 67 on the Bay Course of Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, to win by two strokes at 19-under overall.
It’s déjà vu for Mel Reid as she finds herself in the same position entering the final round of the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer as two weeks ago at the Cambia Portland Classic: the 54-hole leader. This time, she holds a one-shot advantage on the Bay Course at Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, at 15-under-par overall, rather than a two-stroke margin.
In Depth: The incredible story of Melissa Reid's golfing come back. Mel gives us the lowdown on her career so far and comments on the golfing fireworks that are about to explode at the Solheim Cup.
