One of the great things about the US PGA is that club pros can qualify for the event, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia. One such player who has qualified to play at Whistling Straits this week, who you might not have heard of, has already played, and beaten, Sergio Garcia before.
It was Danny Lee who was the first round leader with a sensational five under par 65. The New Zealander mixed seven birdies with two bogeys to top the leaderboard. After already winning the Greenbrier Classic last month the in form 25 year old looks like could go all the way and win his first World Golf Championship at Firstone Country Club.
So after all the speculation yesterday, Rory has posted a video of himself working out. The video is very clear in showing him put weight on the ankle and ankle ligament he busted. If you ask us, he looks ready to go next week at the PGA Championships. He must be itching to show Jordan Spieth who's boss at Whistling Straits.
