You can imagine how annoyed the Spiv was yesterday morning when he woke up to find out that Brandt Snedeker didn’t win the Sony Open after a play off. Gomez deserved it and well played, that man. But still managed Each Ways on Sneds and Kisner so on the whole...can’t grumble too much now can I?

Unheralded Argentinian Fabian Gomez won the Sony Open last night, beating arguably the best putter in the game (not called Jordan) Brandt Snedeker at the second extra playoff hole. His second PGA Tour win, this takes Gomez to 55 in the world rankings, and he's seriously eyeing up an Olympics spot this summer.
