Well they’ve had the boxing, Tiger and Rory have declined big pay days to play there and now Saudi has made history by announcing the first-ever professional women’s golf event in the Kingdom. The fully-sanctioned Ladies European Tour event will be staged in collaboration with Golf Saudi and the Saudi Golf Federation and carry a purse of $1 million.

Returning to the scene of victory is always a special moment and Amy Boulden is excited to be back in familiar surroundings at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. The Welshwoman produced rounds of 70, 65 and 64 to secure a three-shot victory at the 2020 edition of the tournament at Golfpark Holzhäusern.

For the second day running, Philippine teenager Yuka Saso produced a fantastic eight-under round of 64 to hold a two-shot halfway lead at the LPGA Tour's Lotte Championship. Saso held off a charging Lydia Ko, who shot a second-round nine under 63.

A rainy Sunday in southeast Texas caused the first weather-induced Monday finish in the U.S. Women’s Open since 2011. The organisers had moved up the tee times due to the forecast but shortly after the final round commenced the players were called in.

Welsh star Amy Boulden made the biggest jump of the week rising 68 places to fifth in the latest Race to Costa Del Sol standings, courtesy of a three-shot victory at the 2020 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. The 2014 LET ‘Rookie of the Year’, who reclaimed her card at Q-School earlier in the year, not only captured her first career LET victory but secured her card for the next two seasons.

Scotland’s Catriona Matthew rolled back the years on the links, but it is American Amy Olson who leads after the opening round of the AIG Women’s Open. At a blustery Royal Troon, with gusts nearing 30 mph for the international field, Olson emerged late in the day to reach four-under-par after an excellent 67 at the first women’s Major of the year.
