The inaugural Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play Hosted by Shadow Creek is down to four players, vying for the LPGA Tour’s first match-play title since 2017. American Ally Ewing will take on Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn in Sunday’s first semifinal match, while China’s Shanshan Feng, who won her quarterfinal match with a 50-foot birdie on the first playoff hole, will face off with Germany’s Sophia Popov.
In a nail-biting finish, Ariya Jutanugarn overturned a five-shot deficit to win the Honda LPGA Thailand at Siam Country Club Pattaya by a single shot from Countrywoman Atthaya Thitikul.
First-round co-leaders Nasa Hataoka and Su Oh continued their bogey-free play on Friday at the Honda LPGA Thailand, carding matching 65s on Siam Country Club Pattaya’s Old Course. The duo maintained their spots atop the leaderboard at sixteen-under, tying the tournament’s 36-hole scoring record of 128 set by Jessica Korda in 2018 and matched by Patty Tavatanakit in 2021.
Nelly Korda had never played Lake Nona Golf & Country Club before this week. Despite the unfamiliarity, Korda cruised to the top of the leaderboard, finishing day three with a 68 and a thirteen-under-par total. This gave both Korda sisters something to celebrate on Jessica’s birthday at the Gainbridge LPGA.
All eyes were set on the first tee at 12:25 p.m. yesterday, as Annika Sorenstam teed off for the first time in over twelve years, alongside major winner Anna Nordqvist and defending champion Madelene Sagstrom at the Gainbridge LPGA. The LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame member made four straight pars to start the day, but disaster struck at the 5th hole, where she ran up a triple-bogey seven.
Ally McDonald shot a four-under-par 68 on Friday to take a one-stroke lead into the weekend in the LPGA Drive On Championship at Lake - Reynolds Oconee. Danielle Kang sits in second alongside Bianca Pagdanganan of the Philippines on nine-under-par. "I’m trying to just execute and stick to my game plan,” McDonald said. “I think I’m in a pretty good position for the weekend,” Kang said.

It certainly was moving day at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, for Nelly Korda. The American shot a third-round ten-under 62 to catapult herself into a three shot lead over Ireland’s Leona Maguire.
