After a wait of almost eight years, Chris Kirk claimed his fifth PGA Tour title after edging out countryman Eric Cole in a playoff to win the Honda Classic on Sunday. It was a nervy time for Kirk, who bogeyed the final hole in normal time before a birdie on the same hole secured his victory at the first extra hole.
Aditi Ashok continued her fine form in 2023 by firing a six-under-par round of 66 on day two of the Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by Public Investment Fund. The Indian star backed up an excellent first day of 65 (-7) with the joint-best round of the day on Friday to post a total of thirteen-under-par and hold a two-shot lead at Royal Greens.

Canadian Richard T. Lee fired a classy eight-under-par 65 to take the halfway lead in The International Series Morocco today at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. The famous venue’s Red Course once again provided a stern test, but Lee impressively rose to the challenge making an eagle and six birdies to move to nine under par for the US$1.5 million event. He was one of only five players to break 70.
Never say never. Eleven years and 246 starts later, Jodi Ewart Shadoff is finally an LPGA Tour champion. Ewart Shadoff won the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship, conquering The Saticoy Club with a fifteen-under 273 score, a new tournament record. She becomes the season’s 10th Rolex First-Time Winner, which ties for the second-most first-time victors in a year.
Ashleigh Buhai brilliantly produced the lowest round of the week to open up a five-stroke lead going into the final round of the AIG Women’s Open at Muirfield. The South African is on course for her first major title after a superb seven-under-par 64 for a commanding 14-under-par total of 199 – the second lowest 54-hole score in Championship history.
Justin Thomas staged a record-equalling comeback before beating fellow American Will Zalatoris in a playoff to win the US PGA Championship at Southern Hills. Thomas started the final round seven shots behind the overnight leader Mito Pereira and took the clubhouse lead on five-under-par after an excellent round of 67.
Oliver Bekker will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the 2022 Catalunya Championship as he looks to turn his fine form into a first DP World Tour victory. The South African had a share of the lead after an opening 66 but entered the weekend one shot behind Englishman Laurie Canter at PGA Catalunya Golf and Wellness.

The rain and storms on the opening resulted in the loss of five hours of play and an evacuation of all spectators.
