After a summer full of memories to last a lifetime, Celine Boutier is looking to cap it all off with another strong performance at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France this week. The Parisian is competing at Golf Club du Medoc in her first event since helping Team Europe retain the Solheim Cup in Toledo, Ohio earlier this month, in what was a momentous occasion for her and her teammates.

Hall had the advantage of a three-shot cushion with five holes to play but gutsy Pedersen clawed her way back following a rollercoaster round that included six birdies, four bogeys and one double bogey.
Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen closed her second round with an emphatic eagle to post a silky round of 68 (-4) and hold a two shot halfway lead at nine-under-par from Lydia Hall, heading into the weekend at the inaugural Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by PIF. The halfway cut fell at +7, with 67 players advancing to the weekend.
Australia’s Minjee Lee captured her first LET title at the OMEGA Dubai Moonlight Classic with a clutch birdie putt from twenty feet at the first extra hole to beat France’s Celine Boutier in a thrilling shoot-out under the Middle Eastern moonlight. Azahara Muñoz, a star of Europe’s victorious Solheim Cup team at Gleneagles last week leads the way in the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. Muñoz carded at first round five-under-par 66 to share the lead with Madelene Sagstrom of Sweden.
Europe take a slender lead into day two of the 16th Solheim Cup at Gleneagles. After Europe took the morning foursomes by a score of 2½ matches to 1½, an exciting rollercoaster of an afternoon ended in the fourball matches being shared to leave Europe with an overall lead by 4½ matches to 3½.
South Korea’s Hyo Joo Kim holds a one-shot lead over compatriot Sung Hyun Park heading into day four of the Evian Championship. Indeed, Kim has no shortage of company from home as five of the top six players are from South Korea with the only interloper being Shanshan Feng of China.
