George Coetzee secured his fifth European Tour title - and his first on European soil - after producing a short game masterclass to hold off the chasing pack and win the 2020 Portugal Masters by two shots. Coetzee began the day with a one shot advantage but was knocked off the top of the leaderboard early on after parring his opening six holes in a patient start to his final round.

Amy Boulden produced a sensational round of a lifetime, firing a stunning bogey-free 64 (-8) to finish the week at 17-under-par and claim a three-shot victory from Australia’s Stephanie Kyriacou at the 2020 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open. LET rookie Steph Kyriacou was making a charge of her own, turning in 31 (-4), while Morroco’s Haddioui was alongside her after an opening nine of 33 (-2).

Julien Guerrier holds a commanding five shot lead at the halfway stage of the 2020 Portugal Masters after adding a second round 66 to Thursday's spotless round of 62. The Frenchman played some tremendous iron shots and putted well to make seven birdies and just two bogeys in blustery morning conditions at Dom Pedro Victoria Golf Course, setting a testing clubhouse target of 14 under par.

Home-favourite Kim Metraux and Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen take a two-shot lead from the chasing pack at the close of day one at the 2020 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open with sublime opening scores of 66 (-6). A trio of gains from the 13th took her to five-under-par before a 10ft putt on the 17th took her to six. The birdies are important but sometimes it is the pars that matter most.

Dustin Johnson teed off in the final round of the PGA Tour finale Tor Championship and as expected, it was pretty much plain sailing. His lead was cut to two at one point as Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele took a run at the world number one but a birdie at the last capped off a final round 68 and a three-shot victory.

The return of the LET to mainland Europe did not disappoint, with low scores galore on the international leaderboard at the 2020 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open at Beroun Golf Club. Leading the pack after day one is perhaps the hottest player on the LET right now, Emily Kristine Pedersen, who continued her run of good form, firing a ‘career-low’ first round of 63 (-9).

At a blustery Royal Troon, with gusts nearing 30 mph for the international field, Olson emerged late in the day to reach four-under-par after an excellent 67 at the first women’s Major of the year.
