anny Willett will return to Wentworth Club to defend his BMW PGA Championship title from October 8-11, when he will be joined by four Englishmen currently inside the world’s top 20, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton and Justin Rose.
The LPGA announced its revised calendar for 2020 on Wednesday with a planned return to play at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in Michigan on 15th July. There will also be more cash available due to increases in the purses for many of the events. Players will compete for an average of nearly $2.7 million per event.

Nelly Korda shot a four-under 67 to win the Lacoste Ladies Open to take her first European Title. Blustery conditions made it challenging at Golf du Medoc and despite being in a final round containing two local favourites, Korda managed to hold off Joanna Klattern and Céline Boutier for her maiden win on this side of the pond.
It was gripping stuff coming down the stretch as Justin Thomas saw off the challenge of defending champion Brooks Koepka at the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational. Two huge slices of luck assisted Thomas at the 15th and 16th holes, both of which he birdied and held his nerve as Koepka stumbled on the last.
Beef enjoyed a return to his professional roots by supporting the Jamega Pro Golf Tour event at Enfield, North London on August 21.
2019 will see The Staysure Tour welcome a new, exciting event to its tour schedule; the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship boasting a total prize fund of €200,000.
