Jennifer Kupcho claimed her first LPGA title at the opening major of 2022, The Chevron Championship, finishing two shots clear of fellow American Jessica Korda, who finished in solo second place.
On Saturday at The Chevron Championship, it was Jennifer Kupcho who set the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills ablaze. Nine birdies and one bogey later, Kupcho fired an eight-under 64 to set the low round of the week, as well as a new personal best, and sit at the top of the championship leaderboard at sixteen-under overall.
Recognised for bringing together the best players from around the world, this year’s HSBC Women’s World Championship will see the winners from three of the major international women’s golf tours touch down in Singapore next week, ahead of the 3 – 6 March event at Sentosa.
For the first time in U.S. Women’s Open history, the championship will be played on two courses. To account for reduced daylight given the move to December, the Jackrabbit Course at Champions Golf Club will be used in conjunction with the Cypress Creek Course.
