Matt Wallace is a man in form. Following a third place in the KLM Open in Holland last week he shot a flawless seven under par 65 to take a one stroke lead at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth yesterday. Londoner, Wallace leads Spain’s Joh Rahm and Sweden’s Henrik Stenson by one shot. With Justin Rose a further short back after a five under 67.

Rory McIlroy has confirmed his participation in the first Rolex Series event, the 2017 BMW PGA Championship, which will be staged to the revamped Wentworth Club from May 25–28.
anny Willett will return to Wentworth Club to defend his BMW PGA Championship title from October 8-11, when he will be joined by four Englishmen currently inside the world’s top 20, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton and Justin Rose.
