Canadian Richard T. Lee fired a classy eight-under-par 65 to take the halfway lead in The International Series Morocco today at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. The famous venue’s Red Course once again provided a stern test, but Lee impressively rose to the challenge making an eagle and six birdies to move to nine under par for the US$1.5 million event. He was one of only five players to break 70.

Thomas Pieters won his fifth European Tour title after a gutsy final round performance at the Portugal Masters, winning by two strokes at Dom Pedro Victoria. The Belgian started the day in a share of the lead with Matthieu Pavon, but the Frenchman was cruising after the first eleven holes, holding a two-stroke lead as the pair stood on the 12th tee.

Englishman Jack Senior has the world’s best players at his heels as he takes a one-stroke lead into the second round of the abrdn Scottish Open, the second Rolex Series event on the 2021 Race to Dubai. Senior fired a seven-under-par round of 64 at the Renaissance Club to sit one shot ahead of reigning Race to Dubai champion Lee Westwood and former World Number One Justin Thomas.
