Sam Burns claimed his second PGA Tour title at the Sanderson Farms Championship. A final round 67 was good enough to secure a one-shot victory over fellow countrymen Nick Watney and Cameron Young.
After a second-straight 65 at the CME Group Tour Championship, Celine Boutier took a four-stroke lead in Naples at fourteen-under. Her 130 becomes a career and tournament-best 36-hole score, as she holds the second-round lead for only the second time in her career. It’s the fourth time in 24 starts this season that Boutier has opened up with two straight rounds in the 60s.

Kerching! Patrick Cantlay went to wire-to-wire and saw off World number one Jon Rahm to win the Tour Championship, FedEx Cup and scoop the $15 million first prize. Cantlay closed with a one-under 69 at East Lake to finish twenty-one-under-par, a shot ahead of US Open champion Rahm, who carded a final round of 68.
Getting your first win on the LPGA Tour is hard. But if you ask 31-year-old Marina Alex, the second one is even more so. Alex began the final round of the Palos Verdes Championship presented by Bank of America three shots back of 54-hole leader Hannah Green and dug deep on the final day, posting a five-under 66 to beat Rolex Rankings No. 1 Jin Young Ko by a single stroke at ten-under overall.

Whoa, Nelly! Nelly Korda delivered her fifth consecutive LPGA Tour win, and second major title, at The Chevron Championship. She is now only the third player in LPGA history to win five straight starts, the last being Annika Sorenstam in 2004-2005.
England's Charley Hull trails American Lizette Salas by a single shot after the opening round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Atlanta. Hull, who started at the 10th tee, was one-under to the turn before coming alive on her back nine with four birdies and a lone bogey to card a four-under-par 68. "I can't actually remember much of my round today. I just felt quite focused," said Hull.
