Located in the village of Thorner in Yorkshire, the property has gone up on the market for £1.1 Million. The 9 hole course features three greens as well as two ponds to interfere with your good swings.

£1.1 Million House comes with it's own courseCurrent owner Marshall Capel put the course in, at a cost of around £100,000, and it was opened in 1999 by former Ryder Cup player Howard Clark.

“It was a bit of fun and I loved the idea of stepping out of the house and playing a round. Another reason for doing it is that there are amazing 40-mile views. You can see York Minster and the White Horse at Kilburn from the course.”

£1.1 Million House comes with it's own courseThe course is known as Birkby Hill in the local area, and the Birkby Hill Open sounds like the stuff of legend. “We invited friends over, put up a marquee, hired a band and had drinks in the clubhouse bar. Then we’d play with a team of six men and six women. The rule was that they had to be certified drunk and if anyone fell down and passed out we had to play round them. It was hilarious.”
