It was a dream start to life on the Ladies European Tour (LET) for Ana Peláez as the Spanish rookie won her first LET title at the Comunidad de Madrid Ladies Open in her debut tournament as a member. The 24-year-old from Malaga shot rounds of 69, 67, 63 and 66 for an impressive total of 23-under-par to win by six strokes in front of large galleries at Jarama-RACE Golf Club.
Finland’s Tiia Koivisto holds a one-stroke lead on 10-under-par at the halfway stage of the Comunidad de Madrid Ladies Open after a day of low scoring at Jarama-RACE Golf Club. The 28-year-old from Mantsala near Helsinki fired a six-under-par 66 to take control, but two rising stars are hot on her heels.
Carlota Ciganda became the second Spanish player to win the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España as she recorded a four-shot victory. After starting the day two strokes behind the overnight leaders, Jessica Korda, Karolin Lampert, Lina Boqvist and amateur Alexandra O’Laughlin produced another solid round to finish with a total of forty-one-under-par.

Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul shot a stunning final round of 65 to win the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open by one stroke and secure her third LET title. It was the 18-year-old’s first win on the LET as a professional after she previously won the 2017 and 2019 Ladies European Thailand Championship while still an amateur.
