The Spiv is back with the inside track....The WGC World Match Play is one of my favourite events of the year. I love Match Play. The only problem is that there isn’t enough of it around on the Tour. This makes it difficult to place a bet. An out of form player with a strong competitive nature can easily win this one.
So the Golf Spiv came in with a winner, David Lingmerth coming in third at an 80-1 eachway bet.
A star-studded field, top quality course and a prize fund of $7 Million makes the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open the one to watch this week. Especially when the Golf Spiv has flushed out the value...
