Tour Championship Day 2

No one has been going really low today. The rain has made the rough that much more penal, and focused everyone’s attention on hitting fairways. There’s zero reward in being off-line, and that’s kept it conservative out there today. It’s frankly been a very quiet day indeed. Zzzzzzz.

The TaylorMade M1 Rescue

So we’ve hit the M1 driver, raved about the fairway wood, and now we get to the hybrid. TaylorMade invented the Rescue/Hybrid category but the last few years have seen Callaway, Ping, and Titleist hybrids become much more popular, while TaylorMade’s sister company Adams has dominated in tour use.

Italian Open Day 2

While Nicky C didn’t manage to keep the lead going into round two of the italian Open, Scandanavians Jens Fahrbring and Lucas Bjerregaard zoom to the front at Monza. Fahbring shot a 64 with nine birdies, while his playing partner Bjerregaard put a 65 together, with five birdies and an opening eagle at the first.

Who Moved The Dial?

The course played tougher today, with the wind coming from a different direction, and some harder pin placements. But the greens, helped by a firm breeze, were drying out after the torrential rain last night, and running true. Here's who moved.
