Most of us who bet on golf like to apply a little extra knowledge to our wagering. Or, at the very least, we believe we do. A little bit of analysis might have told us, for example, that Jon Rahm was a good thing last month.

A unique event over in Australia this week: The first three rounds are stroke play but on Sunday the top 24 play knockout match play over 6 holes, with the top 8 getting a bye into second round of knockout. Over in USA we have the Genesis Open that boasts the best quality field so far this year!!!
The Spiv is back with the inside track....The WGC World Match Play is one of my favourite events of the year. I love Match Play. The only problem is that there isn’t enough of it around on the Tour. This makes it difficult to place a bet. An out of form player with a strong competitive nature can easily win this one.
