The PGA in Scotland and The Gleneagles Hotel have announced a new Pro-Am tournament for 2016, which is scheduled to take place at the renowned venue in Perthshire, Scotland next summer.
One of Scotland’s most iconic hotels has been sold in a multi-million pound deal that sees The Hotel Collection hand over the reins to ambitious new owners. The Marine Hotel is located on the edge of the 18th hole of the famous Royal Troon Golf Course, which will host next year’s Open Golf Championship.

As part of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour’s Strategic Alliance first announced in November 2020, the Genesis Scottish Open is co-sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour for the second year. Scotland’s national open dates back to 1972 and has been a permanent fixture on the DP World Tour schedule since 1986.
Dumbarnie Links, a premier daily-fee links course located on the east coast of Scotland near St Andrews that opened for play in 2020, has a surprisingly rich golf history dating back to 1837. Details of the once-famous Dumbarnie or Colinsburgh golf club have been recently unearthed.
The Aramco Team Series – Jeddah finished in dramatic fashion with both competitions ending in a playoff as Team Garcia and Chiara Noja claimed victory at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club. Even if the men's and women's major schedule is almost complete, with just the Women's Open to come at the famous Muirfield links course in Scotland, there is plenty for the fans in the coming months.
