Darren Clarke tapped in a short birdie putt at the last to register his first win in forty efforts on the PGA Tour Champions. The big man from Northern Ireland won by a single shot from Jim Furyk and defending champion Bernhard Langer at the TimberTech Champions in Boca Raton, Florida. It was the first victory for Clarke since his Open triumph at Royal St, George's in 2011.

Birthday girl, Ally McDonald grabbed her first LPGA Tour victory at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The 28-year-old shot a final round three-under 69 to finish on sixteen-under-par and win by a single shot from world number five Danielle Kang. Jason Kokrak of America finally broke his PGA Tour duck on Sunday when he won the CJ Cup in his tenth year on the circuit. The 35-year-old closed with a flawless eight-under-par 64 over the Shadow Creek course in Las Vegas to win by two shots from fellow American Xander Schauffele. "Couldn't be happier," said Kokrak. "It was a good fight," Schauffele said.
