International Leisure Group (ILG) Ltd, incorporating American Golf and Online Golf has secured a two-year partnership with LET & LPGA pro, Carly Booth, which will see her take on an ambassador role, alongside apparel sponsorship and promotion of the Stromberg, Golfino and Benross brands, effective from 1st February 2022.

Championing inclusivity and diversity within golf, Carly, 29, will stand beside ILG to drive forward positive change in the industry.  This will build upon the Group’s proven commitment to this cause, demonstrated through its support of progressive tournaments such as the Rose Ladies Series and the ISPS HANDA World Invitational, as well as its partnership with former World No.1 disability golfer, Brendan Lawlor.
Having played golf from the age of five, Carly will encourage juniors to discover golf, inspire female participation and support efforts to showcase disability golf.
A trailblazer for female golfers, Carly Booth, from Comrie in Perthshire, Scotland, became the youngest ladies club champion in Britain at 11 years old at Dunblane New and went on to become the youngest ever Scot to qualify for the Ladies European Tour.  Most recently she returned to the winners’ circle by securing victory in the 2019 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open.

Carly said: “The landscape for female golfers has changed dramatically over the last 20 years, with international brands like American Golf stepping up to ensure course inclusivity.  I’m looking forward to helping ILG lead this conversation, by supporting exciting female apparel launches, the business’ sponsorship of equal opportunity tournaments - such as HANDA World Invitational and the Rose Ladies Series – and their Leisure Range developments.”
“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Carly, who is an inspirational figure in the world of golf.  Carly shares our passion for positive change and as a business we have long admired her work ethic and determination to achieve success.
“The next two years promises to be a very exciting time and we’re looking forward to having Carly on board to amplify our activity further.”
