Will Wilcox Aces The 17th at Players

First hole in one since 2002

We met Will Wilcox back in January at the PGA Show. Lovely chap, with a crazy back story. The most untypical of PGA Tour golfers, you should check out our interview with him.

At the Players Championship, he put himself in the history books, recording the first hole in one at the 17th TPC Sawgrass since 2002. Check this out, his reaction is intense!

Here's what he thought about it.

He even said thanks to you lot.

And us too...

Apparently it was the first ever hole in one for a yellow Srixon golf ball on tour too.

And the last man to make an ace at the 17th at TPC Sawgrass? Miguel Angel Jimenez raises a toast.

As you may not remember him...

How has he managed to make himself look better with a curly pony tail we will never know. Oh and well played Will Wilcox, we got a bit distracted there.
