Sung Hyun Park claims her first LPGA Tour

At the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship

It was a one – two for South Korea, as Jin Young Ko held off World No 2 Sung Hyun Park to claim her first LPGA Tour victory by two shots at the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship on Sunday.

Ko entered the final day with a two shot lead but bogeyed two of her first three holes to fall two shots behind Park. But she rallied to post a four-under-par 68 on the Ocean Course at SKY72 Golf & Resort.

Ko’s round properly kicked in at the fifth, when she made five birdies in eight holes to card an impressive 19-under total of 269.

World No 2 Sung Hyun Park also finished the event with a 68, which was no enough to overhaul Park, and a three putt on the 14th for bogey derailed her bid for victory.

Charley Hull had a decent tournament and came in T6 with Minjee Lee. She shot rounds of 71, 70, 66, and 69 to card a 12 under- par, seven shots behind the winning Ko.
