Pop up golf comes to central Manchester

‘Tee Party’ set to launch

Next month sees the arrival of Tee Party, a 9 hole mini golf course set to take over Spinningfields in Manchester city centre.

From mid April, players can putt their way around the garden games-themed course, which weaves through The Avenue, Hardman Square, Hardman Boulevard, and the newly-developed Leftbank area.

Luisa d’Aprano, head of marketing for Spinningfields, said: “With so much world-class sport this summer we wanted to offer a great destination to enjoy sport and have fun. The holes aren’t just fun to play, they look fantastic and really enhance the estate, adding some much needed greenery for the summer months.”

A new sports bar will also be opened offering refreshment at the 10th Hole with craft lagers and ale, cocktails, and wine.

There will be television screens on display around ‘The Club House’, showing all the action from this summer’s top sporting events, including Wimbledon, Tour de France, the Euros and the Olympics.

A £5 green fee will include club hire and scorecards, which can be bought from The Club House, for groups of up to six players. When the golf clubs are returned, visitors will receive a £3 deposit back.

The course will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 8pm and there will be no need to book.
