GOLFPUNK: Top 10 Men's Golf Jumpers 2020

It's getting chilly out there and Christmas is coming

There's a wee nip in the air now, well there always is in the UK! So its time to layer up and get those golf jumpers (or sweaters) out.
In no particular order here's our choice of the latest offerings just in time to get one on that list for Santa!
Glenmuir -£85
Glenmuir was established in the Victorian era and is one of the first brands that springs to mind when you think of golf knitwear and clothing. Manufactured in Bonny Scotland, the European Ryder Cup have been kitted out by the Glenmuir folk for the past 25 years.
We like this natty number, which is modern, savvy looking with a touch of luxury. Knitted from a blend of the best combed-cotton and finest cashmere wool, the sweater is a medium gauge which is breathable, warm and durable. Machine washable it has an anti-pill finish so none of those wretched bobbles!
PUMA - £68.00

Pumas are incredibly adaptable animals and able to live in a wide range of habitats, from forests to deserts. A natural predator and a fantastic jumper so watch out when venturing too deep into the jungle to hunt for that brand new Srixon.
Talking of jumpers, the CLOUDSPUN Crew Neck from PUMA is a cracking timeless addition to the golfing wardrobe and an ideal layering piece.  A proprietary fabric to PUMA, CLOUDSPUN delivers an ultra-soft feel with four-way stretch, moisture-wicking and all the performance you need for that sub-par round you dream of!
Boss - £159
Looks as BOSS as that Stenson chappie what won the Open back in 2016 at Royal Troon. We particularly like this Zip-neck sweater with its contrast details and placement structure.
This high-performance sweater from BOSS Menswear comes in a regular fit with armhole shaping for greater freedom of movement. This zip-neck style is detailed with placement structure at the chest and contrast stripes at the edges of the collar, hem and cuffs. The BOSS logo features on both the front and back seal of the sporty number which contains virgin wool creating a soft feel and warmth.
Manors - £110
For Manors, it's about feeling comfortable on and off the course. Its clothing is designed to cater for the modern golfer's swing, but not to look out of place down the pub.
How many garments do you own that are produced on a classic British knitting machine such as the Wildt Mellor Bromley? This forest green knitted cardigan cuts a dash on the course with overtures of that madmen esq era of cigar smoking, handsome golfers who wore cardigans and perfectly pressed suit slacks. Are you cool enough to carry off a cardi?
adidas - £49.95

What don't adidas make? From watched to hiking boots, this global brand has it all and that includes an extensive golf collection. Our choice of the golf sweaters is this Midweight Quarter-Zip Sweatshirt which comes at a very modest price.
The midweight stretch knit adds warmth without bulk for easy layering and the polyester blend offers a rich, soft feel.
Oceantea - £84.99
Fancy wearing the first zero-waste golf sweater? Being uber green, we did but we had to Google what is meant by zero-waste. Its a process by which the fabrics of recycled clothes are broken down, with the shredded material then merged with sustainable products to create a new garment.
The Wobbegong sweater from Oceantea is a premium piece of knitwear with a unique look that delivers comfort and warmth on and off the golf course. It has a luxurious finish and thanks to a natural speckle created by the recycled garments no one garment looks the same.
J.Lindeberg - £110
The J.Lindeberg brand launched by Johan Lindeberg back in 2004 always pushed the boundaries with ambitious designs but we have selected this classic looking sweater.
The Kian Zipped Sweater is made from a premium fine merino wool finished with the JL logo on the chest, back and sleeve. A great piece, the sweater is equipped with a quality single pull zipper and a subtle mock neck for a look that looks at home in both the clubhouse as the meeting room.
Polo Golf Ralph Lauren - £130

Polo is an iconic brand that has lasted through the years, from Arnold Palmer through to Justin Thomas. Always somewhat pricier than your standard golfing jumper or sweater depending where you are from but you know what they say, 'you get what you pay for'.
We like this French navy round neck knitted from merino wool and boasting excellent breathability and softness.
Bunker Mentality - £69
You can always find something a bit different at Bunker Mentality a brand that always has one eye on the 19th hole when it comes to design. The Tri Collar Quarter-zip golf mid-layer combines the block colour look with bursts of vibrant colour along the collar and cuffs.
The rib design offers the perfect fit while the high-performance wicking polyester fabric with exceptional stretch, supposedly so comfortable you will never wish to take it off.
Lyle & Scott - £70

One of the oldest players in the market Lyle & Scott have been around for donkey's years but still have the knack for innovation. This classic V Neck Pullover is somewhat subdued when compared with the Argyle Diamonds and other designs but we like the simple look of this men's golf wear staple.
Its Teflon® coating provides water resistance and long-lasting protection for outdoor wear, whilst the Merino-Acrylic blend provides warmth and durability – finished of course with the iconic eagle!
