Marc Leishman shoots 10 under 61

To lead the AT&T Byron Nelson Classic

Marc Leishman has shot a 10-under 61 on the new Trinity Forest course to lead the first-round lead in the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Leishman opened with an eagle and had two birdies on the front nine to make the turn in 32. He then started his back nine with three straight birdies and reached 9 under with another eagle at the 14th.

The 34-year-old Australian had chances to go even lower but with a 10-foot birdie putt at the par-3 17th, he carded the lowest round of his PGA Tour career. It was not, however, a record for the event, as that still stands at 60!

Here's the card of Marc Leishman - already a three-time winner on the PGA Tour.

In other news, Jordan Spieth was T57,  a whole eight shots back at his hometown event, which returned to Dallas for the first time in 35 years to the Trinity Forest Golf Club.
