Golf ball stamps

And why we love them

The United States Postal Service, under the “Have a ball” moniker, is launching a unique series of stamps and golf is in the line up.

The USPS’s new "Have a Ball!" campaign will be officially launched at Erin Hills on June 14, the day before the US Open gets under way. It will feature stamps that have both the look and the feel of balls used in eight different sports.

The dimple–like texture on the golf ball stamp comes from a special coating, which is applied during the printing process. They do look amazing, so if you do a little stamp collecting on the QT we would suggest you get your mitts on a set of these.

These stamps will be available in packs of 16 that include two of each ball from the 16th June.
