Golf at Goodwood Unveil New Cart

Introducing Woody 2

Golf At Goodwood has unveiled the second generation of its iconic Woody golf buggy. The Woody 2 is modeled on the Brakenvan, a 1934 design by owner Lord March’s grandfather, the ninth Duke of Richmond.

The resulting appearance of the Woody 2 is far from your standard club car buggy; it is an elegant and innovative vehicle, which is more spacious and luxurious than its predecessor.

The interior of the Woody 2 features increased headroom and vibrant 1930s-style seat covers that transform the journey around Goodwood’s spectacular golf courses. The redefined, vintage-inspired exterior is finished with a mohair roof, the same as used in the Jaguar e-type convertible.

A cool box inside a basket made from the finest Somerset willow, will chill your champagne throughout your round and two USB ports are available to keep golfers connected on the go. A vintage look, but with all mod cons!

General Manager for Golf At Goodwood, Stuart Gillett, commented, “ Golf At Goodwood has always been about providing a unique experience and redefining the way the game is played and the endearing Woody 2 only enhances its reputation as an imaginative and spectacular golf course.”
