2018 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship Professional Qualifier announced

Details for the 2018 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship Professional Qualifier have been announced, with the qualifier set to take place on Monday July 16th at Nailcote Hall & Country Club, Warwickshire, host venue for the main Championship in August.

There will be a maximum of five qualifying spots on offer to participants, with entry open to male and female professional golfers. Entry is £99 per player, while the field size is limited to a maximum of 81 players, which means, with a full field, first place will take home a minimum of £1000, as well as that all important Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship invite.

The 85th edition of the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship will take place at Nailcote Hall between 7th – 10th August 2018, with the Professional Championship taking place between 8th – 9th August. 

Ryder Cup legend Tony Jacklin CBE will be hosting the tournament for the week, and the likes of 1991 Masters champion Ian Woosnam OBE, Ryder Cup winning captain Sam Torrance OBE, Major winner Michael Campbell, Scottish Open champion Paul Lawrie OBE and reigning European Number One Tommy Fleetwood, have all played at the tournament in its recent history.

The 60 professional golfers will be competing for the first prize of €50,000, from a prize pot of €150,000, with last year’s champion Richard O’Hanlon attempting to win the title for a third time.
