Breathalysers at the Phoenix Open

Could this initiative have saved Bowditch?

Police are offering complimentary breathalyzers at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

As fans leave the TPC Scottsdale golf course, they have to walk past a booth where police officers are offering free breathalyzer tests.

But we think they have missed a trick, as they really need to have a team covering the players exit. Maybe this would have prevented Steven Bowditch from getting done for extreme DUI earlier in the week.

Bowditch is also lined up for a beer, birdies and beef with Andrew 'Beef' Johnson, John Daly, and Boo Weekly. At least we know that he won't be driving himself to this event now.
