First Look: LIV Golf Nashville

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

When: June 21 - 23, 2024
Where: The Grove College Grove, Tennessee
Competition: Three rounds/54 holes of stroke play
Field: 54 players – 13 teams of four players each, and two wild cards
Purse: $25 million USD ($20 million individual, $5 million team)
Winner's Share: $4 million USD (individual) $3 million USD (team)
Local Tee Times: Shotgun Start for Rds. 1-2 at 12:15 p.m. local (1:15 p.m. ET); Rd. 3 at 12:05 p.m. local (1:05 p.m. ET)

LIV Golf makes its first visit to Tennessee, which becomes the 12th different state to host a LIV Golf tournament.

Five tournaments remain in the regular season that will determine the season-long Individual Champion and seeds for the final 2024 tournament, the Team Championship in Dallas.

US Open winner Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC leads the team standings, while Torque GC Captain Joaquin Niemann is the current individual points leader.

Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm (foot infection) is expected to return to action.

Six LIV Golf players who have qualified for the men’s golf competition at the Paris Olympics will be in the field – Spain’s Jon Rahm and David Puig, Mexico’s Carlos Ortiz and Abraham Ancer, Poland’s Adrian Meronk and Chile’s Joaquin Niemann.

Golf Digest ranks The Grove as one of its top 10 courses in its Best In Tennessee list

Designed by LIV Golf CEO and Commissioner Greg Norman, The Grove opened in 2012.

The Grove hosted one of the four Korn Ferry Tour Finals events in 2023, and has also hosted USGA and NCAA tournaments

The course has been modified from a members’ par 72 to a par 71 for LIV Golf Nashville, with the second hole playing as a par 4 at 529 yards, making it the longest par 4 on the course

The 344-yard par-4 fourth could play as a drivable hole depending on the tee location

Tees and fairways grass are Zorro Zoysia, while the green is TifEagle Bermuda

Projected stimpmeter green speed will be between 12.5 to 13
