After an action-packed day at the Volunteers of America Classic, major champions Inbee Park and So Yeon Ryu along with 2020 LPGA Tour rookie Yealimi Noh are tied at the top of the leaderboard at -4 at Old American Golf Club in The Colony, Texas.
Antoine Rozner claimed his maiden European Tour title at the Golf in Dubai Championship presented by DP World after a great final round performance helped the Frenchman come from four shots back to seal a two-stroke victory at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Two-time major champion Anna Nordqvist finds herself tied for the lead along with Americans Jessica Korda and Yealimi Noh at four-under-par. Starting the day with a birdie on the 1st hole, the Swede carded three more birdies in her round until an unfortunate bogey on the last cost her the solo lead. "I think I made four in a row on making the turn too," said Noh of her birdie opportunities.
The 12th career LPGA Tour title for Sei Young Kim was never in doubt as she shifted into cruise control for the final round of the Pelican Women's Championship presented by DEX Imaging and Konica Minolta securing a three-stroke victory on fourteen-under-par overall.
Robert Streb struggled on day three of the RSM Classic but still walked off the final green with a three shot lead over the field. Streb had another bogey-free round but this time had to grind out the pars on the front nine before finding three birdies in his final eleven holes. Emiliano Grillo shot a 65 and is four shots behind, while Kevin Kisner (66) and Kyle Stanley (68) sit five back.
Spain’s Luna Sobron Galmes made a sensational move to the top of the individual standings at the Saudi Ladies Team International, firing a course-record equalling seven-under-par 65 to take a one-shot lead from Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen at ten-under-par. Heading the individual standings with one round to go is Luna Sobron Galmes.
Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen held her nerve to secure a dramatic play-off victory over Georgia Hall to win the inaugural Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by PIF. Hall had the advantage of a three-shot cushion with five holes to play but gutsy Pedersen clawed her way back following a rollercoaster round that included six birdies, four bogeys and one double bogey.
The stage is set for a Sunday showdown at the inaugural Aramco Saudi Ladies International Presented by PIF, with Welsh star Lydia Hall and Denmark’s Emily Kristine Pedersen locked together at ten-under-par after rounds of 69 (-3) and 71 (-1) respectively. I’m pretty happy with the result and I’m looking forward to playing with the same group tomorrow again – it’s going to be fun.”
Darren Clarke tapped in a short birdie putt at the last to register his first win in forty efforts on the PGA Tour Champions. The big man from Northern Ireland won by a single shot from Jim Furyk and defending champion Bernhard Langer at the TimberTech Champions in Boca Raton, Florida. It was the first victory for Clarke since his Open triumph at Royal St, George's in 2011.

It's not the calculation of the Handicap that seems to be causing the most discussion but the differentiating factor between golf courses known as the 'Slope Rating'. Patrick Cantlay of America snatched a one shot victory at the Zozo Championship with final round seven-under 65 which included nine birdies. Jon Rahm of Spain and overnight leader Justin Thomas finished tied in second on twenty-two under par.
Laurie Canter followed up his incredible first round of 60 at the Italian Open with a four-under-par 68 to take a two shot lead going into the weekend at Chervò Golf Club. 38-year-old McGowan carded a bogey-free round of 64 to keep Canter in his sights as he bids to lift a European Tour trophy for the first time since the 2009 Madrid Masters.
