Abraham Ancer became the first Mexican to win a European Tour title after defeating Sam Burns and Hideki Matsuyama in a play-off at the WGC-FedEx St Jude Invitational. The 30-year-old carded a 68 to finish at sixteen-under after 72 holes at TPC Southwind, with Matsuyama and Burns storming through the field on day four with rounds of 63 and 64 respectively.
Australia’s Stephanie Kyriacou produced a bogey-free final round of 67 to win the Big Green Egg Open by two strokes and clinch her second LET title. The 20-year-old rounded off an excellent week, which saw her card rounds of 66, 72, 65 and 67 to triumph with a score of eighteen-under-par at Rosendaelsche Golf Club.
Australia’s Stephanie Kyriacou shot a first round of 66 to lead by two strokes over England’s Lily May Humphreys at the Big Green Egg Open. On a damp and drizzly day, the 2020 LET Rookie of the Year got off to the best possible start when she opened her round with a birdie at the tenth.
Austin Ernst made four consecutive birdies on her opening nine in the final round of the LPGA Drive On Championship presented by Volvik to open a six-stroke lead. Christiaan Bezuidenhout moved into the top ten of the Race to Dubai following his four-shot win at the Alfred Dunhill Championship. A closing three-under 69 from the South African left him on fourteen-under-par well clear of a group of four players in joint second. "I'm really pleased I pulled it off," said Bezuidenhout, whose win moves him to ninth in the Race to Dubai.

Despite dropping three shots in her last three holes, Gabriella Cowley held on to win the fifth Rose Ladies Series event at the JCB Golf and Country Club. She carded an excellent two-under-par round of 70 to win by one shot from a group on one-under that included Charley Hull and Georgia Hall. Originally announced as the English Open, the newly named Hero Open takes place at the Marriott Forest of Arden, Birmingham, England from July 30 – August 2.
Christine Wolf shot an excellent five-under-par 67 in the third round of the Hero Women’s Indian Open to take a one stroke lead into the final round at DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram. The 30-year-old Austrian will be determined to make amends for last year when she dumped her third shot into the water at the 18th to take a double bogey and lose the event by two shots.
