The halfway cut fell at +7, with 67 players advancing to the weekend.
Birthday girl, Ally McDonald grabbed her first LPGA Tour victory at the LPGA Drive On Championship at Reynolds Lake Oconee. The 28-year-old shot a final round three-under 69 to finish on sixteen-under-par and win by a single shot from world number five Danielle Kang. Mina Harigae of America and Spain's Carlota Ciganda shared the fourth spot after rounds of 67 and 69 respectively.

Danielle Kang sits in second alongside Bianca Pagdanganan of the Philippines on nine-under-par. "I’m trying to just execute and stick to my game plan,” McDonald said. “I think I’m in a pretty good position for the weekend,” Kang said.
Jason Kokrak of America finally broke his PGA Tour duck on Sunday when he won the CJ Cup in his tenth year on the circuit. The 35-year-old closed with a flawless eight-under-par 64 over the Shadow Creek course in Las Vegas to win by two shots from fellow American Xander Schauffele. "Couldn't be happier," said Kokrak. "It was a good fight," Schauffele said.
England's Georgia Hall and Charley Hull are well placed at level par after the first round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. For Hall though there was frustration as she got off to a great start reaching the turn in three-under-par but faltered on the way home giving up all three shots including bogies at the 17th and 18th holes.
