Christiaan Bezuidenhout moved into the top ten of the Race to Dubai following his four-shot win at the Alfred Dunhill Championship. A closing three-under 69 from the South African left him on fourteen-under-par well clear of a group of four players in joint second. "I'm really pleased I pulled it off," said Bezuidenhout, whose win moves him to ninth in the Race to Dubai.

Ashleigh Buhai defeated In Gee Chun at the fourth extra hole of a sudden-death play-off to win her first major title in dramatic style in the AIG Women’s Open at Muirfield. The 33-year-old let slip a five-shot overnight lead with a closing four-over 75 – largely due to a triple bogey at the 15th – to finish level with Chun on a ten-under-par total of 274.
Dean Burmester earned his second European Tour title at the Tenerife Open, sealing a five-stroke victory with a stunning nine-under-par final round display at the Costa Adeje course in Tenerife. The South African began the day one shot back at Golf Costa Adeje, with a crowded chasing pack as 18 players sat within five strokes of the summit.
