Tiger Woods in contention at Bay Hill

Along with Rory, Rose and Fleetwood, as Stenson fires a -8 round of 64

Tiger Woods continued his impressive comeback with a first round 68 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

After a runner's up finish at last week's Valspar Championship, Tiger hit the ground running at Bay Hill, making six birdies including a mind-blowing 71-foot putt on the 7th (his 16th).

He struggled off the tee all day but made some incredible recovery shots. If he gets it together on the tee box, he will be hard to beat.

Tiger has won eight times at Bay Hill but has not won on the PGA Tour since 2013, having had four back operations in three years.

"I think it's just playing tournament golf," said Tiger with a broad grin. "I've been away from it for so long that when I first came back it was just a matter of getting my feel for tournament golf again. I think I have. I feel like I'm not really thinking as much around the golf course. I can just see and feel it and go and that's just because I've got my 'feels' back again."

Henrik Stenson leads after an -8 round of 64 with Tiger tied seventh on -4 and Northern Ireland's McIlroy a shot further back.

We all know how long it's been since Tiger won, but what about Rory? He hasn't bagged a tournament since September 2016. He's in decent shape here, despite a double bogey at the 18th where he blasted his drive out of bounds.

It'll be interesting to see how this all shakes down over the weekend.
