Mum gets wet to save son's putter

At the French Open

When two–time European Tour winner Haotong Li had a paddy and threw his putter into a pond during the first round of the French Open, his mother did the decent thing and went in after it!

But when she got to the abandoned putter, she found that her errant son had only gone and broken the putter in half.

Alex Noren, Tyrrell Hatton and Thomas Pieters where playing two groups behind Li, and were on the green as Li's mum made the breakage discovery, and could not help themselves.
