Billy Horschel breaks putter

And finishes his round with a fairway wood!

Billy Horschel’s putter head fell off during his first round at the FedEx St. Jude Classic.

Horschel was putting from off the green at No. 8 (his 17th hole of the day) and missed out on his birdie attempt.

It appears that he threw his putter in the air after his miss, and it took a bad bounce and the head came off!

Fortunately for Horschel he only had one hole left to play, and he putted out for par out with a fairway wood.
