RIP Peter Alliss

The game of golf has lost one of its greats. Peter Allis who was the 'Voice of golf' and commentated on golf for the BBC for some six decades, passed away suddenly on Saturday night. To us, he was simply the best! "It is with great sadness we announce the passing of golfing and broadcast legend Peter Alliss," said Alliss' family.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday confirmed the news we had all been praying for – golf is back from 2 December! Boris stated that when the four-week national lockdown due to coronavirus comes to an end, outdoor sports will be allowed once again. Golf bodies keep up the pressure on Boris

England Golf CEO Jeremy Tomlinson is among a group of signatories on a letter to the Prime Minister which makes a compelling case for golf courses to be allowed to stay open during the second national lockdown.
