Woman dies in crash at Donald Trump's Aberdeen golf course

A woman has died after her car crashed into a wall at the entrance to Donald Trump’s Aberdeen golf course.

The crash happened just after 3pm on Saturday at the entrance to Trump International Golf Links, at Menie Estate.

The 38-year-old female driver could not be saved, and formal identification of the woman will take place today.

Fire crews from Ellon and Central, Aberdeen arrived at the scene at about 3.20pm and used cutting gear to free the woman from the car.

Last night a spokeswoman for the golf course said their thoughts and prayers were with those involved. ‘’We are deeply shocked and saddened by yesterday afternoon’s terrible accident near the entrance to our property.”
