Trump UK ban petition to be debated

Should he stay or should he go?

The Donald in full harangue. Calm down dear.

Donald Trump has the hump over the online petition that has been signed by over 500,000 people, which calls for him to be barred from the UK due to his comments about Muslim’s being banned from entering the USA.

Not everyone is against the Donald, and a rival petition has attracted 40,000 people saying he should still be let into the country.

Now The Trump is indicating in no uncertain terms that he will stop investing in his Scottish golf courses, if the debate goes against him and he is barred from the country.

In the UK a petition that gets 100,000 signatures must be given the opportunity for a full Parliamentary debate. This will go-ahead on the 18th January, when both sides of the argument will be aired.

The Trump organization has now issued a release, which states:

"The Trump Organization has plans to invest more than £200m into the development of the iconic Trump Turnberry resort, located in South Ayrshire, Scotland.

"Our work there has been widely supported by the local community and created hundreds of jobs for the region. Over the coming years, we intend to further develop Trump Turnberry and invest millions more at the site, creating sustained economic growth for South Ayrshire and Scotland.

"Additionally, we have plans to invest £500m towards further development at the 1,400 acre Trump International Golf Links, Aberdeen, which has been consistently rated the best modern golf course in Great Britain and Ireland by the prestigious Golfweek magazine and many others in the global golf community.

"Any action to restrict travel would force the Trump Organization to immediately end these and all future investments we are currently contemplating in the United Kingdom.”

The Trump has clearly got a lot of toys that he can throw out of his pram. We say steady on old chap. Let's not get too hasty.

And here's a nice piccie of one of his Scottish courses. That should calm everyone down.

Trump International Aberdeen. Lovely stuff.
