Tiger Woods to play Genesis Open

As comeback momentum gathers pace

According to Golf Week, Tiger Woods will play in the 2018 Genesis Open on 15-18 February, as his comeback gathers pace.

The event, at Riviera in California, will be Woods second event in his recent comeback after a very respectable T9 at the Hero World Challenge just two weeks ago.

Tiger Woods played in his first ever professional event at the 1992 version of the competition, when he was just 16.

As his Tiger Woods Foundation is the Genesis Open host, it the natural event for him to play after his own Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

While Jack Nicklaus probably won't bother to watch, we will be all eyes.
