Tiger Woods' North Carolina Golf Development up for sale

Yours for $24 million

Ground breaking back in 2007.

The land for what was meant to be the first ever Tiger Woods designed course in the USA is now back on the market, and yours for $24 million.

The 795-acre site in North Carolina, which would have included the Tiger designed golf course, is up for sale after the original development collapsed.

$24 million might seem like a lot of money, but the property once sold for $40 million when the housing market was booming.

It was back in 2007 that Tiger first visited the site and announced that: “My first American golf course is going to be here at the Cliff at High Carolina.”

And now in 2016 only two houses have been built, and the original owners have been persuaded to move it on.

Local Real Estate agent Michael Posey is confident he'll find a buyer. "This is the most beautiful piece of property that is within the closest mountain range to downtown Asheville. This is going to be marketed to developers who have an instinct for a trophy piece of property like this one is."
