Tiger shows support for Nike Equality campaign

In rare foray into political territory

Nike has released a Black History Month–themed campaign featuring LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Serena Williams and other of their star athletes.

The campaign, called "Equality," includes a 90–second commercial featuring them, but no Tiger. Here's the ad:

So where does Tiger come into it?

Well, he's given it his backing through this tweet.

Tiger very rarely steps into the political arena, although he has of course recently played with President Trump, which some may see as a political act in itself. Mind you, he probably only did that to balance up the fact that he also previously played with Obama.

So it's an unusual move for him. As one of Nike's most prominent black athletes, he would have been very conscpicuous through his absence. So would that be reason enough for his particiption?
